Although I sympathize with the speaker, I disagree that what happened at the Toronto G20 was not a Canadian problem. It was a Canadian problem because Canadians elected a prime minister who was prepared to trample on our Charter of Rights and Freedoms just to justify a billion dollar security budget. Was it part of a bigger conspiracy? No. Canadians had the power to elect someone else. However, what happened in TO was atrocious and lots of Canadians are riled up about it. From what I've read and heard, Canada is perhaps the market leader when it comes to suppressing Free Speech. Just like us in this Hell Hole - you get the government the sheep deserve...
